Will a local audiologist service hearing aids bought online?

Many will, for a fee. Here is how to ask, what unbundled service usually costs, and what we handle remotely at no charge.

Will a local audiologist service hearing aids bought online?

This is the most common hesitation we hear, and the honest answer is: often yes, sometimes no, and it matters less than most people expect.

Ask for unbundled pricing

Many clinics now publish a service-only price list — a fitting fee, an adjustment fee, a cleaning fee. Call and ask whether they see patients with devices purchased elsewhere and what they charge per visit. Some decline; plenty do not.

What we handle without a clinic

Programming to your audiogram, remote fine-tuning, wax filter and dome supplies, warranty repairs and replacements are all part of your purchase. Most adjustments happen over the phone in ten minutes.

When to see someone in person

Get a local appointment for ear wax removal, suspected medical issues, custom ear-mould impressions, or if you simply prefer hands-on help. Those visits are usually inexpensive when bought separately.

Still deciding?

Tell us about your hearing and we'll recommend two or three models that fit — no pressure, no jargon.
